Programs and Offerings

Kindergarten​

  • Overview: Focuses on foundational learning through play, social interaction, and basic literacy and numeracy skills.

  • Key Areas: Language, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Cognitive Development, and Creative Expression.

  • Activities: Storytelling, group activities, music, and arts.

​Grades 1 to 6

Core Subjects:

  1. English

    • Reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and speaking skills.

    • Focus on proficiency in using English for communication and academics.

  2. Mathematics

    • Arithmetic, basic geometry, and problem-solving skills.

    • Emphasis on critical thinking, analytical skills, and application of mathematical concepts.

  3. Filipino

    • Language development, Filipino literature, and culture.

    • Focuses on deepening understanding of the Filipino language and its role in identity formation.

  4. Araling Panlipunan (Social Studies)

    • Philippine history, geography, culture, government, and economics.

    • Aimed at instilling social awareness, nationalism, and an understanding of civic responsibility.

  5. Science

    • Introduction to life sciences, earth sciences, physical sciences, and basic environmental concepts.

    • Hands-on activities and experiments are emphasized to foster inquiry-based learning.

  6. Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP) / Values Education

    • Focuses on moral development, ethics, and character-building.

    • Encourages students to develop values that promote good citizenship and respect for others.

  7. MAPEH (Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health)

    • Music: Basic music theory, singing, and instrument-playing.

    • Arts: Visual arts, crafts, and creative expression.

    • Physical Education: Physical fitness, sportsmanship, and health education.

    • Health: Hygiene, nutrition, and personal well-being.

New Subjects Under MATATAG Curriculum:

  1. Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC) Integrated into the Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP)

    • Reinforces Filipino values, ethical behavior, and social etiquette.

    • Aims to develop students' ability to make responsible decisions and engage respectfully with others.

  2. Reading and Literacy (Grades 1 to 3)

  • Dedicated to building strong foundational reading skills, including phonics, comprehension, and fluency.

  • Promotes a love for reading and early literacy development.

   3. Makabansa (Grades 1 to 3)

Introduced as part of the MATATAG curriculum to build early civic consciousness and love for country.

Teaches simple concepts of nationalism, patriotism, and Filipino pride.

Special Programs and Initiatives
  • ALS (Alternative Learning System): Provides flexible learning options for out-of-school youth and adults in the community.

  • School-based Feeding Program: Nutritional support for undernourished students to improve their health and learning capabilities.

  • Brigada Eskwela: Annual community-driven program focused on improving school facilities and fostering collaboration between the school and the community.

Co-Curricular and Extracurricular Activities
  • Academic Competitions: Math and Science quizzes, writing contests, and spelling bees to foster competitive academic spirit.

  • Sports and Athletics: Various sports such as badminton, basketball, volleyball, and track and field.

  • Clubs and Organizations:

  • SELG: Supreme Elementary Learner Government
